Utility poles are a key component of energy distribution infrastructure. Bakrie Pipe Industries provides high-quality steel utility pole fabrication solutions that meet PLN standards to ensure reliability in national electricity distribution.
Fabrication Process
- Steel pipes are produced according to the type of utility pole to be fabricated.
- A single utility pole consists of four steel pipe segments: top, middle, bottom, and socket/sleeve.
- The connection between segments is made through welding.
- After welding, the steel pole is coated with primer paint and marked according to the pole type.
Testing Process
- Visual and dimensional inspection
Includes measuring the length, diameter, and thickness of each segment, as well as weight measurement.
- Straightness deviation test
Uses a water pass, deviation gauge needle, and string alignment after applying a load. The pole axis must be straight, with a maximum deviation of 0.2% of its total length.
- Bending test
Applies load to the utility pole as per SPLN requirements to determine its strength under external pressure.
- Burial depth measurement
Ensures that the burial depth meets the required standards.
Bakrie Pipe Industries is committed to providing strong and durable steel utility poles to support the national electrical infrastructure
