On 19 June 2025, PT. Southeast Asia Pipe Industries (SEAPI), a subsidiary of PT. Bakrie Pipe Industries (BPI), received a visit from national strategic partners, PT. Pertamina Gas (Pertagas) and PT. Bumi Siak Pusako Zapin (BSPZ).
This event marked an important momentum for BPI through SEAPI to strengthen collaboration within the national energy and infrastructure ecosystem.
Welcome and Opening
BPI, represented by SEAPI Management, warmly welcomed the Pertagas and BSPZ delegation. In its opening remarks, SEAPI management reaffirmed the company’s commitment to support accelerated national development through an innovative and internationally standardized subsidiary.
SEAPI Production Facility Tour & Technical Discussion
The Pertagas and BSPZ representative teams were invited to tour SEAPI’s steel pipe production lines, including:
- Forming using Three Roll Bending technology
- LSAW (Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welding)
- HSAW (Helical Submerged Arc Welding)
- Quality control and product durability testing
After the tour, both parties held an in-depth discussion on product specifications, quality assurance standards, and potential applications of SEAPI pipes in various national energy projects.
Synergy for Industry Independence
Through this meeting, BPI via SEAPI, together with Pertagas and BSPZ, explored long-term synergy opportunities, including:
- Optimizing efficiency in national energy projects
- Strengthening the domestic supply chain
- Reducing dependence on imported products
This meeting provided a platform for exchanging insights and reaffirmed the determination to build concrete collaboration for industry independence.
