On Friday, May 23, 2025, PT Bakrie Pipe Industries (BPI) once again held its Jumat Berkah (Blessed Friday) event. In this installment, BPI continued its efforts by distributing meals to various groups in need.
The beneficiaries of this Jumat Berkah initiative included the Muhammadiyah Foundation, street vendors in the Pejuang Medan Satria area, parking attendants, and online motorcycle taxi drivers. Previously, BPI had launched a series of activities under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program titled BPI Peduli (BPI Cares).
Elly Farida, General Service Supervisor, representing BPI Management, stated that this activity is part of the company's ongoing CSR efforts through BPI Peduli, which, God willing, will continue to be held every Friday.
“We hope this activity brings blessings to the company, leads to greater success, and allows the blessings to extend to all employees, making them more prosperous,” she said.
At the same event, one of the beneficiaries, Ani, a caregiver from the Muhammadiyah Girls' Orphanage, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to PT BPI for the Jumat Berkah initiative, which she said was very meaningful for the children.
“The children were able to enjoy delicious meals thanks to Jumat Berkah. They prayed for PT BPI to receive more blessings, greater success, and abundant orders,” she said.
She also expressed hope that the Jumat Berkah program would continue in the future, allowing the orphanage children to keep enjoying good meals and bringing positive impact to everyone around the company.
